On the Current
If you have never been on the river in the rain, I highly suggest it. No blinding sun, you're already getting wet, and no crowds!
Canoeing with dogs is a challenge. They seemed to have to look out the same side of the boat at the same time, so we worked a ton on keeping the boat steady.
I loved the color of the water. We went right before they closed a lot of the roads down, in the middle of the rain storm, so the river was pretty high and flowing nicely.
This place had the best deal and let us take the pooches without charging outrageously for it.

The Animals
I have always believed that animals were placed on earth for companionship. William would say that he most values the amusement factor.
This would be right after one of Teddy's shaves. Looks like some poor animal lost a battle with a badger.
Surprise, Suprise
Since we bought our house in the winter, we didn't get a chance to see what all we had as far as plants. This spring was exciting. We have two lilac bushes, but they didn't bloom so well this year so I will have to look into that.
This was just a stump with no sign of life. It really shot up, though we still don't know what it is.
During the snow storms earlier this year we had quite a few branches fall. We cut them up and stashed them under the deck.
I was out mowing the back when this thing flew up at me. Poor thing got whacked by the lawn mower. If it was poisonous I wouldn't have minded, but since it was a guarder snake, I felt a little bad about it.
Our Masterpieces
There is this place downtown called Canvas on Broadway. It's a class setting where an artist shows you how to paint a given piece of art step by step. This is what we did for my birthday celebration. Aren't they awesome!

Crush
Need a game to play for family game night (because everyone should have family game night). See if you can get your hands on Crush. It is a whole lot like Farkle and totally luck based, but it is fun!
Dinosaurs!!
Corey and Robin were awesome to let us spend the night with them after the wedding. We went to this dinosaur museum the next day that was pretty fun as well.
Marewage it what brings us togetter today
Earlier this year, William's sister got married in the Manti Temple. Which meant road trip for us!
Here we are waiting for show time.
Seth was one of many waiting for the bride and groom to grace us with their presence.
Here they are! Tosha and her now hubbie, Cory.
Father of the Bride and his sister Linda.
Amy with Sheila and Kevin's latest addition to the family, Jenna.
The Night Before
The night before the wedding, when everyone was staying elsewhere, we decided to stay at the bed and breakfast right across the street from the temple. Manti is a cute little town. There isn't much by way of shopping or eating or places to stay, but the atmosphere is hard to come by these days. It was a nice place to relax while we spent the evening strolling main street, playing on this modern playground, and walking around the temple.
The Black Sheep
So we drove by this little sheep farm. You know how people always refer to the black sheep of the family as a way to say the odd one of the bunch. Well, I never really understood, I mean, wouldn't there be other black sheep too? The answer is no. And when all the other sleep turn tail and run, the black sheep is the one that looks back. Not sure the symbolism behind that one :). Needless to say, we had to turn the car around and snap a picture.
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name, it felt good to be out of the rain
Caleb was really excited at the first formation we stopped off to look at.
The Three Gossips
Group Photo!
Double Arches
Landscape Arch
I call this one The Cobra, though it didn't have a name associated with it.
This was the closest I could get to the truest color of the rock.
A Pit Stop in Colorado Springs. CO
This restaurant was right outside an airport. Can you guess what their inspiration was?
We got to eat in the airplane that was semi-encased by this building. We got the spill about what was so awesome about this particular airplane, but I have forgotten most of it.
I thought it was great how you could walk inside this place and see this huge wing from the airplane just hanging out.
Ooo, what does this button do?
Shawn was a co-worker of mine that we met up with since we were driving by where he now resides.

Semco Picnic
Semco threw a 50 year celebration at a local park. It was such a beautiful day! We had BBQ and brought the dogs. They were excellent garbage disposals for anyone who was so inclined to feed them. They also had a bounce house in which William and Chris had fun...no pictures of them though:(.
